Join our World-Class Team!
Do you want to join our team developing advanced millimeter wave modules and phased-array antennas?
The opportunity
We are expanding and looking for a talented engineer to join our Applications team within Sivers Wireless. The team is responsible for designing beamforming modules with phased array antennas and other advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs).
If you are meticulous and communicative and have a passion for advanced high frequency PCB design, this is a position for you!
Your role
As part of the Applications team, you will:
- Design advanced and compact millimeter wave modules with phased-array antennas.
- Design peripheral PCBs to demonstrate the advantages of millimeter wave modules.
- Together with the RFIC design team, design evaluation boards for our RFICs.
- Take responsibility for the manufacturing of PCBs and assembly.
- Take responsibility for the part and component database.
- Work together with the field application engineer team to evaluate customer use cases.
You will be an important part of Sivers Wireless development unit, a group of highly experienced RFIC and millimeter wave engineers that have designed world-leading 5G and satellite communication RFICs.
Required qualifications and experiences
We are looking for an innovative engineer who can take responsibility for the complete module. You have an MSc in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field and have an interest in antenna design. You should have experience in several of the following areas:
- High frequency PCB design.
- PCB Design tools, particularly Altium.
- Antenna design, preferably phase array antennas.
- High frequency simulation tools, e.g. HFSS and ADS.
- Other electronic simulation tools, e.g. Spice.
- Millimeter wave product development, e.g. cost-effective high frequency PCB design.
- Millimeter wave measurements.
- Product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Analog design, e.g. power supply design.
We offer
An exciting and challenging position where you get the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with skilled colleagues to develop world-class millimeter wave modules for wireless communication.
