Join our World-Class Team!
Do you want to join our team developing advanced millimeter wave test systems for our Satellite and 5G chips?
The opportunity
We are expanding and looking for a talented engineer to join our RF Validation team within Sivers Wireless. The team is a part of R&D and works together with the RFIC and antenna/module designers to develop test systems for advanced wireless communication products.
If you have are curious and driven, have a background in microwave engineering and like to work hands-on with electronic hardware, we want to hear from you!
Your role
- Define, specify, and perform measurements using our mmWave test setups for conducted and over-the-air (OTA) validation.
- Develop test scripts that control chips and instruments, mainly in Python.
- Summarize measurement results in test reports, both for internal use and as a response to customers’ requests.
- Operation of our state-of-art instruments: network analyzers, spectrum/signal analyzers, vector signal generators, arbitrary waveform generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Drive prototype builds and support customer demos.
As part of the RF Validation team, you will:
You will be an important part of a group of highly experienced RFIC/millimeter wave engineers that have designed world-leading 5G and satellite communication RFICs. The validation facility and the office are located in the same building, which further assists close interaction with designers.
Required qualifications and experiences
We are looking for committed engineers with a passion for wireless technology. You have an MSc in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills together with experience in several of the following areas:
- Microwave measurements, preferably wireless communication technologies.
- Programming, particularly in Python.
- Automated test system development.
- Telecommunication systems, e.g. 5GNR, SATCOM and/or IEEE 802.11.
- Report writing and technical documentation.
- Electronics troubleshooting, repair and modification, including soldering.
- PCB design, especially microwave layout.
We offer
An exciting and challenging position where you get the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art mmWave instruments. Collaborate with skilled colleagues to develop world-class RFICs for wireless communication. We are scaling up our design and validation capabilities to meet the growing demand for our mmWave products.
