Sivers Semiconductors and the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience at Chalmers University of Technology will collaborate in research and development of a new generation of power amplifiers. The project targets a global market with a large growth potential among traditional broadband providers, in addition to new market segments made possible by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
The project is now offering a Postdoctoral Position in Adaptive and energy efficient power amplifiers for future wireless systems
The successful candidate will work on innovative power amplifier architectures designed to mitigate the influence of the active antenna environment while maximizing energy efficiency under given in-the-air spectrum and signal constraints. The project will be carried out in close collaboration between Chalmers and Sivers Semiconductors. The position requires a doctoral degree in microwave or radio frequency electronics, integrated circuit design, or other related disciplines, and documented experience in power amplifier research. The position is a full-time temporary employment for two/three years.
